Shropshire Wildlife Trust

The Trust cares for 40 nature reserves, including woods, meadows and wetland bird havens. With their reserves open to the public, they encourage people to enjoy nature with walks, talks and events in town and country. With a dedicated team of volunteers operating across all their delivery, Shropshire Wildlife Trust engages with thousands of school children, introducing them to nature with projects and trips across their sites.

"We are using Upshot to help us monitor “The Growing Confidence Project” which is a Big Lottery funded partnership project with Shropshire Wildlife Trust, FSC Preston Montford and Fordhall Farm which aims to provide opportunities for 11-25 year olds to increase their knowledge and skills about the environment, conservation and careers within the sector.

We have found Upshot very useful when collating our data for quarterly and annual monitoring reports as with data coming from several partners it was difficult prior to us having the system to record participant journeys through the project as some participants were doing things with all three partners. The whole team finds the system very useful and easy to use in terms of input and setting up statistic reports. If we have any problems the Upshot team are very friendly and more than happy to help. We have had a few staff changes over the project period and the Upshot team have provided on the phone training for these people which has been really useful. We would highly recommend Upshot as a system and the company for their superb customer service."
