The Arch has grown significantly since becoming involved in training some four years ago. Over the past two years, learner numbers have grown significantly. Last year they worked with 150 pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship learners. This year they will be looking to increase learner numbers and turnover by at least 50%, whilst retaining their learner-centred approach that helps all learners achieve their full potential. 97% of their learners complete their programmes and over 95% progress into employment.
As the company grows, they are mindful of the need to maintain the ‘uniqueness’ that is built around the level of support they offer to their learners, many of whom have difficult circumstances and a range of personal issues. They are also mindful of their role in the West London community.
Their success is built on an innovative approach, and clear strategic goals linked to effective target setting, implementation and monitoring. They are currently looking to develop a greater range of courses, their own training restaurants and to further develop their provision for schools.
They are also currently further revising their quality systems and processes to ensure they meet the financial, operational and strategic targets set through their Quality Improvement Plan.
