Marketing and Communication Consultant
Join Upshot and play a key role in shaping how a growing, purpose-driven organisation tells its story, reaches the right audiences, and supports more organisations to turn data into insight and better decisions
Role Overview
Upshot is looking for a Marketing and Communications Consultant to play a key role in shaping how we tell our story and reach the right organisations. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a pivotal stage and build the foundations of our first dedicated marketing function. You’ll help raise awareness of Upshot, strengthen our positioning, and attract organisations that are looking for a trusted partner to help them turn data into insight and better decisions.
In this role, you’ll lead on creating compelling content, sharpening our messaging, and delivering focused campaigns across channels including our website, LinkedIn and email. You’ll work closely with colleagues across growth, product and consultancy to bring our offer to life, develop case studies and thought leadership, and improve the journey from first enquiry to meaningful conversation. It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategy with hands-on delivery and wants to see their work make a visible difference.
We’re looking for a confident and capable marketer with strong writing skills, sound judgement and a practical, proactive approach. You might come from a consultancy, SaaS, charity or values-led organisation, and you’ll be comfortable building as you go in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. In return, you’ll have the chance to shape an important area of a growing organisation, work flexibly as part of a supportive team, and contribute to work that helps charities, funders and public sector organisations deliver greater social impact.
