Upshot User Survey - The Results Are In

Earlier this year we conducted the annual Upshot User Satisfaction Survey which was sent to just under 3,000 individuals. Also, for the very first time, we conducted an Organisation Impact Survey, undertaken with the lead contact(s) from each organisation . . . thanks to all that took the time to respond!

These surveys are an incredibly important piece of feedback for us as an organisation. As the day-to-day users of the system your feedback will enable us to develop and improve our service.
Please see a summary of the results below.
 

User Survey

The fifth annual User Survey was sent to users in January 2021.

We were incredibly proud of the user feedback around our support. Over 97% of users that had contacted our support channels in the previous 12 months saying the experience had either been ‘Very Positive’ or ‘Positive’.

Additional comments around support included:

‘Our Upshot contact is fantastic - knowledgeable, approachable, he connects us to others, an invaluable source. He is really taking our Upshot potential to a new level.’

  • 62% of users ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ that Upshot is better than previous monitoring and evaluation systems they had used.
  • 63% of users ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ that Upshot has saved them time compared to previous monitoring and evaluation systems they had used.
  • 65% of users ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ with the statement Upshot is ‘continually improving or developing.’
  • 68% of users ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ with the statement Upshot ‘keeps me updated of new developments on the system.’

The top 3 areas users would like to see improved are:

  • Reporting 
  • Bulk Uploading/Bulk Editing of information 
  • Attendee Details/Attendee Timeline

This feedback helps to inform our product developments moving forward.

Organisation Impact Survey

We carried out, for the first time, an Organisation Impact Survey in November 2020. This survey was conducted with the lead contact(s) from organisations to further understand the impact Upshot was having.

We were delighted that over 50% of lead contact(s) scored 10/10 in response to ‘How likely is it that you would recommend Upshot to other organisations?’

  • 82% of lead contacts ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ with the statement ‘Upshot has helped my organisation to manage qualitative data.
  • 84% of lead contacts ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ with the statement ‘Upshot has made it easier for my organisation to communicate our impact & tell our story.’
  • 86% of lead contacts ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ with the statement ‘Upshot has made it easier to report against my organisational and/or funder outcomes.’
  • 98% of lead contacts ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ with the statement ‘as an organisation, we feel our data is secure and protected on Upshot.’
  • 57% of lead contacts ‘Strongly Agree or Agree with the statement ‘Upshot has made it easier for my organisation to apply for funding.’
  • 43% of lead contacts ‘Strongly Agree’ or ‘Agree’ with the statement ‘as an organisation we have used Upshot data to adapt our delivery to meet participants’ needs.’
  • 55% of lead contacts have used Upshot to produce an external impact report.
