A celebration of five years as an independent CIC - just a moment to say thank you to some of the people who’ve shaped this journey so far - and to bring that community together.

Join us for a relaxed evening with the Upshot team, supporters, partners and friends — plus a World Cup watch party to round it off.

Date: Thursday 11^th June

Location: The West Indies Room & Terrace Bar, the iconic Kia Oval cricket ground, London, SE11 5SS 

Timings: 6 – 11pm

6pm: Arrival and welcome drink

7pm: Guest speakers and toasts

8pm: World Cup watch party - the opening game: Mexico vs South Africa 8pm KO. Watch together, enjoy fresh pizza and dessert!

Getting to the venue:

Entry to the ground is via the Alec Stewart Gate at the Vauxhall end of the stadium.

The West Indies Room and Terrace, located on the first floor of the JM Finn Stand.

BY NATIONAL RAIL

The Kia Oval is located just a six-minute walk from Vauxhall station, served by South Western Railway trains coming in and out of Waterloo.

BY LONDON UNDERGROUND

Vauxhall Underground station is on the Victoria line, with services every few minutes, and just a six-minute walk from the JM Finn Stand End of the ground. Oval and Kennington Underground stations are both on the Northern line and just a few minutes from the Pavilion End of the ground.
